AND THE LIST CONTINUES....

Okay, so its looking like the South has something to say.
We are now at the number 8 spot on MTV's Hottest MC's of 2008, so far we have had T.I at number 10, Dre "Three Stacks" Benjamin at number 9, and now we name Young Jeezy for the number 8 spot!

Now although these seem to be the higher numbers on the list, I feel like the South in general is making a statement in the Hip Hop industry. Where once upon a time, NY and LA were the hip-hop capitals, Atlanta has come in the recent years and brought a new flavor and sound to the culture. Now, we have cats trying to MOVE to ATL to get a taste of the GA Peach, so overall I can appreciate the fact the Round Table is acknowledging us... Finally!

So why is Jeezy Hot? Well, according to the Round Table Jeezy can dominate the show on a posse cut with some of his most mic-savvy peers, then successfully facilitate requests from mainstream mainstays like Mariah Carey and Usher, who call him to sanctify their #1 albums and songs with his seamless street swagger. Young Jeezy is at his pinnacle. Don't misconstrue the ranking: He's #8 with a bullet.
