So a couple of weeks ago, I posted an "Art" post on artist Kehinde Wiley. Recently, I went to DC's Smithonian Museum of American Art and Portraits and ran into him! Well - I take that back, not HIM, actually. But his AMAZING work. Its one thing to see someone's work on the internet or in a book, but to actually see it in person is a whole other experience.
Funny story, if you have ever been to a real museum, you know that guards are EVERYWHERE! So as my friend are I are walking through the museum, we're carrying our BIG ASS cameras, and we keep seeing these "No Photography" signs in certain rooms. Especially the featured artist section, so being a rebel as I am. I still am taking pictures. Cool thing was, the guard that watching this particular room was like, "When I walk out, you all can take pictures.." So hopefully, I wont' get arrested or something crazy like that for these pics.. LOL!

There's more pics, but I'm going to keep those underwraps - no FBI.
