WILL THE FASHION INDUSTRY ACCEPT?

We all know that the average woman model is about 5'9 +, measurements that I haven't been since 6th grade, and have awesomely beauitful proportioned faces. Not until recently, we can see that the "plus size" model is being introduced in the industry. Thanks to mainstream television series like "Americans Next Top Model" who attempt to embrace the plesantly plump woman. But they never seems to make it half through the competetition. Black models are also beginning to get their shine in the industry. A recent all black Italian Vouge showcases the beauty of the 'SISTAH' with only black models shown in the magazine. However, there is still a group of women that are still being left out in the industry...

The disabled woman. The woman who is in the wheel-chair, or has her arm cut off. Are these women not considered beautiful because of their flaws? If you ask me, I'd say that because of their flaw - these women are beautiful.

Jessica, paralysed in both arms.

I believe we're in the time and age where things are changing for the greater. So hopefully before too long, we'll be seeing women who little girls can relate to all around.
