The "hottest" mc is not relevant to me because I assume the term "hot" refers to how visible they were as opposed to their skill. Fuck hot, they should do a most skillful mcs of 2008 or something. That would be some shit. Then maybe the industry could start valuing skill again once more.
didnt watch it... but Rick Ross > Lupe Fiasco + Andre 3000
with that said. i dont even need to waste my time.
i agree david.
i mean, i feel like people like andre and lupe should be a lil higher on the list.
their lyrical content us far more supreme than people like 50 and snoop. plus i feel like cats like 50 and snoop are played out.
i dont know, thats just my opinion.
i wanna hear more of what ppl think of this list tho.. this was aired on mtv, so i mean the people who they chose to be in the round table most have some type of serious insight on the game.
you know?
Curtis was a super wack album even though Curtis is a good rapper kind of. If he didn't have videogames and vitamin water then capitalist ass MTV wouldn't have put him on the list. Ghostface should've been up there as well because he works so hard. Ultimately, I'm surprised they didn't put T-Pain or any other robot on that list (besides sexual eruption snoop dogg). This rap shit is full of trendhopping thirty plus year old grown men, and so is this list.
